Spot on. I only cheered for the Sharkies for the game to be closer but I loved Luai and Turuva.
I will definitely be cheering on the Panthers.

I hope we can get some more miles in those legs of Hunt in the off season. He was poor tonight.

Didn’t see the game, but these comments on Fox NRL re: our newbies.
2. Sunia Turuva — 8.5

Pretty close to Penrith’s best on ground. Saved two tries with brilliant defensive plays in each half. Had a try ruled out in the 58th minute. Finished with 182 metres from 21 runs.

6. Jarome Luai — 7.5

Took control of the side early, then allowed Cleary to do his best work. Defended well, ran the ball well and took control once Cleary went off late, setting Martin up with a deft grubber. Could be donning the No.7 next week.

16. Royce Hunt — 6

Costly offload when his side were on the attack in the 50th minute. Got through some good work in just under half an hour. Struggled like the rest of his forwards.

I've been watching him for a while now and he's better than what I saw last night. Compare his effort to the rest of the Sharks pack.
I hope he has a big off season.

I’ll predict Nelson S. will get charge downgraded from 3 to 1 and be free to play.. 1/ it’s the gf 2/ the other player was hurt only because he was running so hard at Nelson. 3/ it was a chest not a shoulder tackle and Nelson was close stationary when he made the tackle 4/ there was no blood and no one was knocked out 5/ N only fault was he’s 6 5 and that’s not his fault. What were the alternative options for him? Tackle around the ankles? 5/Four time premiers fk that

The attacker was knocked senseless and failed his HIA didn't he?
He didn't lose consciousness but he was in Disney Land.
It's worse than being knocked out imo because everything goes dark and blurry and you can't hear anything.
It's quiet concerning believe me... been there done that.
I'm 6'5" and I never had a problem legally tackling someone, it's a technique of aiming lower, simple.
It basically comes down to the NRL not condoning forceful contact to the head by awarding harsh penalties. They have to because of future law suites are bound to happen. It's all about duty of care.
What I can't get my head around (no joke intended) is boxing and MMA are brutal with head contact but get away with it.
Apparently signing an indemnity form will not hold up in court. The governing body has to have that 'duty of care'. So I ask again, how does boxing get away with it?
Will Nelson get off and play in the GF? I doubt it. BUT..........
If a player, after scrutiny from the video and on field ref feel there's not enough evidence to send the player off then then grading should be lower.
Another issue is we demand 13 on 13 for most of the game so the NRL are still under pressure to try to keep this happening, a compromise if you will.
