It's an odd one, all the players seem to have their heritage number on the chest but a random different number on the sleeve. I can't figure out what 74 means for Smithies
I think its to do with some initiative Stick brought in a couple of years back, linking a current player to a past player.

The sort of thing a club does when they don't win premierships for decades.

But they are all disgusting. But I gather being a members jerseys, they would have to be simple to print the names legibly.
Relax, they're not that bad.

The first and third are inoffensive, simplistic designs that put a decent spin on the Rabbitohs brand but still have a traditional look. Yeah they're not winning any design awards, but they'll look fine in person.

The fourth is difficult to judge based on the concept alone. It really depends on what the design is exactly and how it'd be presented on the finished product. It could be a sleek modern design not dissimilar to some of the best stuff the likes of Adidas has been putting out in recent years, or it could look like bad vintage wallpaper.

The second is a reject from the 00s that doesn't really fit the Rabbitohs vibe, but wouldn't look too out of place at some of the other clubs with some minor tweaks.

Cowboys wore white shorts with their home jersey in 2020 at times. Clubs should look at wearing alternate shorts colours to pair with their home jersey. Cronulla's a good example where they could wear sky blue shorts against the likes of Souths, Penrith, Wests, Brisbane and Melbourne as the away team to increase the contrast. Because Cronulla wore sky blue shorts shortly after colour TV was introduced in 1975, it would make sense from a heritage point of view too
Good point - and there are certainly teams in the league that should be a lot more fluid & flexible in the shorts colour they wear - and not have shorts & shirt combos "locked in" regardless of contrast with opposition teams.

NQ's NRLW kit with the navy blue shorts and the away jersey looked so much better than being paired with white shorts, I wish the men had this option available.

Titans jersey,

Make the grey light blue and the teal yellow and you've got a classic retro jersey with a modern twist

Noticing now that referees jerseys, while the same three colour/designs from last year, have switched order.

In recent years, yellow was the default/go-to colour, now it seems that's black and white stripes. Red remains secondary, yellow seems to be a distant third choice.
