Considering the Panthers have been wearing their multicultural jersey through the finals I wouldn’t be surprised if they wore their white indigenous jersey next week.

They’re funny, they’ve stuck with a themed jersey through each premiership run.

2021 was the Back In Black home
2022 was the heritage with the white gradient
2023 was the rust/teal 2003 heritage
2024 was the Pasifika, but will clash with storm. Felt like a last dance reference given the players leaving.

So as other suggested, it will be pink, indigenous or chocolate soldiers for the GF. Will be interesting to see what they choose

It's pink, put the house on it

It’s a shame because the storm away is a better kit than the panther alternate options.

the best GF jersey match up would have been Storm away vs Panther home (or Pasifika).

That's my thoughts for all teams when they decide their alternate/away kits: What if they are designated as the away team in the GF and have to wear it on the biggest stage. Would they be happy to have that kit on as they hold up the premiership trophy and have it immortalised forever in that moment?

If the answer is 'No', then it perhaps should be a different design.

Pink it is….

Of course it was going to be, we came 2nd, we weren't going to flake to not wear our away, just coz there's some old men who think pink is poofy, we've worn pink as an away for a very long time now, this will be the GF to embrace that any color will work on the big stage.

Does anyone remember the preliminary final verse the storm at suncorp, that ended with a 6-10 scoreline, one of the best games of footy ever, it was the same kits worn

This should be the away jersey the 1998 kits were the best design ever. Instead they have had some serious crappers.

We discuss and bemoan the lack of this every year, so I'll bring it up again in 2024.

I can't see anything on the Melbourne kits, but I can see the white embroidered text on the sternum of the Penrith jerseys.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have yet another year without a Grand Final badge on the jerseys of our Grand Final teams.

Every year the obvious solution is so simple. A gold and black heat pressed patch to cover the usual Telstra Premiership logo. How hard could it be?

Exactly. So simple. Inexpensive.
Would look great and special.

Instead, year after year: non-descript embroidered text on the sternum just like every player's debut or milestone game jersey. Does not look becoming of a Grand Final jersey.

And so we lament for yet another year...
