Great news from the Warriors

"While the club’s first-round match against Cronulla Sutherland is still a month away, hospitality options in both the newly-named Bayleys Club Lounge and the TAB Clubrooms – catering for about 1000 fans every game day – have already sold out for all 10 home games at Go Media Stadium. So have all corporate suites and booths in the West Stand accounting for another 1000 clients each game.

Membership packages have been bought at levels not seen before, tickets for all games – which have only recently gone on sale – are being snapped up in huge numbers and merchandise sales have been extraordinary, hitting monthly highs and gathering even more pace through new apparel partner Dynasty’s range.

The One New Zealand Warriors’ round one match against the Sharks on March 8 is already more than half sold as the club aims to open the year with a capacity home crowd following on from six home game sellouts last year.

Sales for other regular season home matches are also selling at levels not previously seen and even the club’s two trials are attracting huge interest.

More than 10,000 tickets have been sold for the first match against Wests Tigers in Christchurch on February 18 and the second Preseason Challenge match against the Dolphins at Go Media Stadium on February 24 has sold a similar number of tickets".

Could genuinely be looking at 10/10 sold out games at Mt Smart Stadium this year. I would be getting a Season Membership if I was Warriors fan. If they start off with any momentum, we could be looking at games sold out months in advance.

got my NSW membership the other week. $60 for one NSW away game ticket and $50 worth of merch credit from the member store (I got a cap, some luggage tags, a bumper sticker and a stubbie holder but here were plenty of other options). Pretty decent value I thought.

Just what are they hiding, by not showing their figures?
I think clubs don’t trust what each other are doing so would rather not produce figures if some clubs are making it up or including one game memberships that cost less than a game day ticket. No point being measured against fudged data.

blame the nrl, Vlandys decided to abandon offical reporting of membership numbers when he took over, they don’t like being held accountable for how the games travelling.

If clubs are making it up then officially reporting them is a waste of everybody’s time, isn’t it? It’s a shame all the same, though.

I think the one game memberships are a joke, and should not be counted as a ticketed member.
dolphins still don't have rd1 tickets available unless you want a 1 game membership. The game is 2 f**king weeks away. I got a group of 12 NQers going, i refuse to add to their bullshit Dolphins membership numbers.

The whole thing is a farce when you have shit like the above going on and single game memberships (my club does single game memberships so they're just as bad in that regard).

Give it a bloody rest mate. membership numbers are basically nonsense. We all know that. Endlessly complaining about vlandys is pretty pathetic tbh.

This is why membership numbers mean nothing, clubs want the data that comes from having someone sign up.

As from the post a few above, In some cases they are free so don't even add to the clubs bottom line

Penrith have sold all of their seated membership out.

That is what matters not how many
'Bathurst memberships' they also sell

Only meaningful membership data Ive ever seen was put out by Cronulla a few years ago which was an infographic that showed the membership type split, where members lived etc. Shame all clubs dont do that every year.
