Ask the warriors fans how they felt about Ivan's tenure.

He beat Bellamy twice in finals in Melbourne when they were minor premiers 2008 and 2011.

Made a GF with the Warriors

4 finals series out of 6 Years

2 years he didn't make it they had 4 points stripped in 2006 which cost them a finals spot.

And in 2009 they lost Sonny Fai in the pre-season which f**ked there season up.

Yeah was real rubbish coaching performance from a club that has made the finals 5 times from the other 24 years Ivan wasn't there.
I approve of these stats.

Because Bellamy's teams never shit themselves in big games?

Even Kearney made the finals with the Warriors.

Oh and for those keeping count:

I finished at 9 pints. Then went for a 5 minute walk out of my way to get a kebab but the kebab shop was closing up, the f**king merkins.

So got a Powerade and a Coke and now walking home to make ham and cheese toasties.

This has been Grand Final day with T.S Quint.

All of them played Origin and Australia on top of winning a CCM.

Makes a complete mockery of they were ordinary player arguments.
There aren't enough genuine Origin players to fill two teams so plenty of ordinary players get picked. Cameron McInnes is an Origin player ffs.

Bennett has him covered purely because of rep coaching and the fact he has done it at 2 clubs.

But you do have to look at Ivan possibly overtaking Bellamy now.

The bloke has won as many premierships as finals wins we have had since 2009.
Cleary has continuously lost players and still found a way to get back every year and win. This loss of players makes it harder than previous eras...good on em.
I wish we could win 1...:(

Channel 9 and their efforts to showcase Phil Gould as a major contributor to a dynasty where he was the one who sacked the coach that started it all.

If Gould stayed on this never would have happened.
100%

Gus the one who bought Trent Merrin, James Tamou on big money

Brought in a dud of a coach in Griffin to waste 3 years then had to go back to Ivan the great.

Edwards and To'o carved our middles up in 2022. Edwards, To'o and Turuva would do it again in 2024.
No Crichton, Koroisau, Leniu and Kikau would be a huge equaliser. Penriths attack was ranked 6th this season. Pretty low for the eventual premiers. They won in a soft competition. Look at how many plodders that top ranked Melbourne side has.
