Moses is very good off momentum but what halfback isn't...he can be a bit of a downhill skier for sure but real talk I also think it's undersold how good he can be at creating that momentum.

There's a reason Parra are so shit without him. His kicking game creates or stops so much momentum in a game.

Critta has always been an elegant centre but I was disappointed he never used his frame to his advantage.

Since the 2023 GF going over Staggs, Walsh and Rili for a try he's been aiming to physically dominate in contact and then do a classy play.
Hammer is quick and nimble but also small in brittle. Defence is half the game and although he’s amazing on attack, his defence isn’t the best. Crichton knew it and was planning on taking advantage of the situation.

Stephen Crichton in the opening minutes bulldozed straight through the Hammer and really set the tone. That moment was huge in the context of the game and showed that we can do damage on both edges.
Crichton has been pretty epic for a long time but just blended in to a great team. A bit like Luai. He was always in Cleary's shadow.

Crichton leaving Penrith, Luai having Cleary gone long enough to adjust to running a team. They're showing they were more than just cogs in the machine. Although Critter never had to leave. The grand final last year he was absolutely crucial in turning momentum along with Cleary. He is a big game player.

Even against small players he didn't use to go into them with full momentum.

He's really chased the contact this season.

No way I'd change the halves for game 3. Cleary's a great player but he's never shown anything at Origin level to suggest that you'd risk dropping one of the current halves for him. Big injury risk too.

And Madge had the spectacular idea in Game 1 to play him on the left to accommodate a kid getting leather patches fitted, and then doubling down by not switching him over for half an hour when the chosen one got sent.
