From memory Ivan usually gives his players the week off after origin? Bit diffetrent maybe this year, as a loss could see them drop down to as low as 6th. Would guess maybe Martin rests, but Biz, Luai and Yeo back up? Whens the last time Penrith lost 2 in a row at home? Doubt they let that happen.

Panthers by 12.

Dragons broke the Penrith "system". Manly to pile on the misery.
Watch the "system" return the favour in kind when we play the Steelers in Wollongong at full strength.

Against Manly, a dead set toss up, or we cop a hiding if its pissing down raining again.

Its a bit all over the place.

Ivan Cleary has made public comments about backing up being a thing of the past. We rested a number of players after game III last year and scraped home against the Knights which was a massive risk.

Recent losses against the Warriors/Dragons will force his hand IMO. All our post-origin games in 2024 are played on Sundays which is the best on offer in terms of a rest.

And if the NRL are serious about player welfare then they should ban it or re-jig the SOO schedule. The Dragons appear to be playing Lomax and Hunt tomorrow on 48 hours rest.

I’ve got some 10w50, and a fresh bottle of Listerine. I feel well prepared for this afternoon’s reaming, and hope I don’t catch the feels after a less than consensual pounding 😂
