is that not technically a downtown penalty?
Yeah I wondered about that as well. If it was a long kick he would have been penalised, so why not there?

The problem with the “markers not square” penalty that Klein found earlier is that the markers are NEVER f**king square, so any time it’s penalised it just feels arbitrary.

Isn't it only a downtown issue if he's ahead of the PTD when the ball's played? I was cringing cos Parra but I thought he ran a decoy off the PTB...

I was waiting to see how they'd rule it in this circumstance... i dont know why it's not a penalty
By the rule he's in front of the play the ball before the ball goes past

And to be clear i dont think that SHOULD be a penalty but curious as to why it's not

And the answer might be that ive misinterpreted what the rule actually is!
