Souths should really be targetting Emre Guler, was part of all the rep teams when he was younger, but has been stuck behind rep players Tapine and Papalii, which has stunted his development.

Has been very under utilized at Canberra, i believe in the right system and abit of trust and confidence he can be an origin and aus prop. In Wayne we trust how he turned Legless Liam Knight into a good player.

Shouldnt be breaking the bank either on about 300 - 400k.

It’s disappointing that from all reports it’s the tigers and dogs in talks with him but his jnr club isn’t. Even at 400k I think it would be a bargain

De Belin is way past it not the type of workhorse prop/lock we need.

HUNT, TPJ, GULER

thats the order of props i would be targetting first. way before de belin and not a 2 year deal if we were to sign him should only be 1 with club option for another 1.

I hope he does and I agree he's coming on well this season but he ain't there yet and we need an alpha male prop pronto whom he can team up with and learn from.

We are short on prop forwards as it is plus we're losing Tom after this season (have you forgotten?). That's not "whining and wanting" it's just a well established fact about our squad acknowledged by pretty much everybody that knows League (like me).
Do any of you here really think the Balmain Gipsy FR forward dude is far superior to Moale, whom you acknowledge to be on the improve? Personally, I have not seen that dude do much at all...has he lifted the Balmain Gipsies or whatever they call themsleves? What has he done to deserve $4 million for 5 seasons or whatever Richardson is offering him? In the NRL and salary Cap football in general, you give that type of contract to a player who has clearly demonstrated that his play has lifted the club he plays for to heights they would otherwise have never reached. Remove him from the club and the squad plummets.
Moale is still very young and he seems immature. His ceiling is much higher than what he has displayed thus far, especially under a Legend Coach. Ditto for Kelpie. But he too is going North.
Again I state: I am far more concerned about Campbell Graham than the state of our pack. That guy is special, a leader and great playmaker and we cannot replace him now or in the immediate.
