Whilst I’d hate to see a talented player leave the game, I think it’s time for Latrell. I just don’t see us getting anymore out of him for another 3 seasons. Unless Wayne can work a miracle. I’ve backed him so much in his time at Souths, but it’s worn pretty thin. I’d rather just persist with Jye at fullback, he’s only going to get better as he gets more game time.

I just hope the club absolutely feed it to Latrell, it’s just not good enough, I don’t care what he does in the privacy of his own home, but he one of the most scrutinised players and stuff like this is what can/will ruin his legacy as a great player.

Latrell, as a souths fan, pull your head in, get fit and give us a full season in 2025, prove to us you want to play for your/our team. You have to regain any respect as it’s all but lost, it’s time to man up.

Gday handy i read Huddersfield giants are looking at signing dudmetriou i wonder if dudmetriou who said sillyass ilias will be one of souths best half backs for a long time. i wonder if dudmetriou can take ilias with him and make ilias England's number one half back seeming he thinks so highly of ilias and we know where that all ended at souths swapping reyno for ilias.

He can take him,but i doubt he would get the 500k he would get from us, i still think he could transition into a good 9, and when fit id give him a go in regis

I know he is untried in that position but his defence is excellent, is very tough,throws an excellent pass and reads the game well. I don’t think any half back would do any good if his forwards played like ours were at the beginning of the year.

Handy I know uve been on here for years and your only one of the very very few that I admire your input on here.in saying that I like ilias he is a good kid and yes he tries very very hard but he was a flop at #7 he was all over the park tackling shoe laces ile give him that he did try much harder than some other players in our team when he was half back his level of play aint much better than that flop of a past winger we had called jaxson paulo we crazily let taane milne play mostly in the regis whilst paulo fumbled balls most games and was a dud buy. But getting back to ilias he aint no reyno or dce or sam walker or hunt and I very doubt he would be as good as our past #9 apisai koroisau or our current #9 Damien cook .handy ilias might transition into a very good #9 but for myself we need to buy a proven performer at #9 with a track record as you know good guys finish last and I believe ilias is a good guy cheers mate.

Handy its a shame that cookie has gone to stmerge becoz humpreys can play either at hooker or if needed in the halves if injuries occur he has a good boot too.why let cookie go makes no sense to me.

We are stuck with ilias,who was never going to dominate with cody next to him,but he is a good kid and i believe has some talent just not at7, he would make a good 9
