It was hard to tell cause sales just dropped off a cliff from Tuesday till today

Other dogs games this year kept selling but this was an nrl run and marketed event

Transport nsw who are the best guide had 60k

Bulldogs mid season form with their injuries pulls some extra. All the P parking was gone by the time the game was announced due to the 4 or 5 other events on today in Olympic Park.

The access to that likely plays into it, the crowd was great will beat either Prelim but due to a Baseless claim it could be seen as a poor crowd

They won't get anywhere near 70,000 if Panthers fans don't show up. I want to see that stadium filled as much as possible and my point is that the timeslot is perfect for a big crowd. If they played it at night you could 100% see some fans not being bothered to attend.

They got 51k vs Manly last year. Previous Wk1/2 final at this venue was vs SGI in 2015 which drew 38,000. Methinks you talk shit.

The big clubs have the potential to pull 70k, smaller clubs not so much.

It's happened once in 27 years since it was built. Dogs-Parra is the only game that will draw this. Souths could get close against one of those two.

Reminder in the past 24 years the grand final of 2016 Sharks V Storm got the 4 biggest crowd in the past 24 years.
Wouldn't be concerned about a G?F crowd .The 3 other biggest crowds were in the early 2000.

Not only is it the biggest crowd in Week 2 NRL Finals history, but it is also the tenth highest non-Grand Final / double header crowd in NRL history (and three of those crowds were recorded this year):
