I know it's just graphics of the new Tigers jersey & not a photo of the real thing, but it looks like they've done a good job combining some elements of the 2005 design (curves, hexagons, gradients) with a V and a pretty clean centre of the jersey.

Honestly, the drawings are far better than what I was anticipating.

Will be keen to see if the final jersey looks like the graphic. The V is a big improvement than what they've run around with in the past few years, and nice to see it go back over the shoulders.

I'll be keen to see how the 2005 elements look when worn. Hopefully they get the balance right so it's not completely hidden under the arms, and it doesn't come too far across the stomach.

Would have been nice if Pepper money didn't need to be in a black box... IMO, I feel this looks a lot better.

They look heaps better in person, particuarly the black. ONly had black shorts and socks this morning with both jerseys so not sure if we have alternate ones of those.

Clearer photo from the Tigers' media release - orange one is the NRLW jersey with slightly different sponsors

Looks F'en crap, rectangular logo sponsor and stupid naughties nostalgia grand final side wind panels.... Honestly original Balmain and black Western Suburbs jerseys would be a massive cash bonanza for the club. 👎

Ahh but by using a modern orange, black & white design (no matter what the proportions of each color), means that a) they forge a unique identity for the Wests Tigers that's separate from the two original clubs and b) they can use historical designs for when that's worth doing - whether that's celebrating an anniversary of something Wests or Balmain did or a heritage round.

Not a fan at all. They've just got two different ideas and mashed them into one jersey. Does not go together well.

Also, have they changed their orange? Seems to be getting more red by the year. I was watching a 90s Balmain game yesterday it seems completely different to then (and worse).

NSWRL + adidas is official:

The NSW Rugby League (NSWRL) is proud to announce a five-year partnership with leading multinational sportswear manufacturer, adidas, which will see the Westpac NSW Blues join a stable of global sporting brands including Real Madrid and Manchester United.

As the NSWRL’s official apparel and footwear partner, the adidas brand will extend across both the men’s and women’s Westpac NSW Origin team playing and training kits from 2025 until 2029.

NSWRL Chief Executive David Trodden said the significance of the partnership with adidas, the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe, could not be overstated.

“We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with adidas, a brand synonymous with innovation, courage and excellence in sports, which aligns with our organisation’s values,” Trodden said.

“It is a really exciting chapter and we look forward to a successful journey ahead with adidas by our side, providing our players and fans with the best gear and support to achieve their goals.

“This adds to our group of commercial partners, each of whom are industry leaders in their respective fields.”
General Manager of adidas Pacific Steve Castledine said: “We are proud and excited to announce the partnership between adidas and NSW Rugby League.

“NSWRL is an iconic Australian brand, and at adidas, we are committed to bringing innovative performance product to both athletes and fans. We look forward to a successful future together.”

Original Puma deals, announced in 2021, were 5 years NSWRL, 6 years QRL. Wonder who pulled the pin a year early for the NSW deal and if that affects the Queensland one?
