Interesting looking at the highlights from the Charity Shield, we saw an exciting comeback in the 2nd half with Humphreys and Keaon especially combining on our left side. It was a great little combo but we all know Cody is our left side half so will be interesting to see how Humphreys goes on the right side or if the 2 of them will swap it round a bit.

Also, I thought Keaon was great on the left edge when he has traditionally played on the right while Arrow has played left side when he's been on the edge. Will they revert back to that or will they swap round and leave Keaon on the left?

Finally, on the wings, I think the interview with Tass earlier in the week indicated that he was playing outside Campbell which means Munro will play left side which I think is great while AJ is still out as that's the side we play most of our quick shifts and we need our fastest man available on the end of that. I saw somewhere where they were saying who was the fastest player at each club that Munro and AJ were a dead heat. Obviously that would have been going of last year's stats before AJ got injured. But I expect when AJ is back hopefully round 4 as suggested, that Munro goes back to the right wing and Tass drops out.

Yeah speedster I thought Koala was great on the left so it's a nice problem to have as to leaving him on the left or reverting him back to his usual right side.
Typical Wayne - he likes to broaden players' utility value by getting them used to playing on both sides of the field and also in different positions sometimes so they have greater utility value. He strengthens the squad that way by value adding.

‘Four or five’ Dolphins set to miss Bunnies game; injury-hit Bulldogs set for more changes: Late Mail

Late Mail: The Dolphins are set to be without four to five players according to The Courier Mail’s Peter Badel, who reported Mark Nicholls is expected to be one of the players unavailable as the club deals with the impending threat of Cyclone Alfred.

Nikorima's wife had a social media post critical of the NRL not accommodating family on the news so he is likely to be another one.

‘Major concerns’: Wives and partners ‘filthy’ as Dolphins make hotel offer to families

Families have not been offered temporary relocation to Sydney for the game, but that instead there have been invitations for the wives, partners and children to stay at the Sofitel Hotel in Brisbane’s CBD.
........
While the prospect of multiple Dolphins players pulling out has led to cries of an “unfair advantage” for South Sydney, Badel said coach Kristian Woolf told him earlier on Wednesday that the “show is going on” and that he was heading to the airport to travel to Sydney.

“Even if there are mass withdrawals, there will be a 17-man Dolphins team ready to play on Friday night,” Badel added.

The NRL should foot the bill to get all of the players families down to Sydney so all of the players can play and have their minds at ease about their loved ones. How is that not an obvious necessity?

If not, then the Qld government should pay for it.

Changes on nrl.com late mail - Nikorima out, Sullivan the new 5/8; Nicholls out and Kerr comes onto the bench; Bromwich is gone from the reserves list and Oryn Keeley has being added.

Still a very strong side unless more drop out and they would be very determined to fight hard under these circumstances.

I don't know if it's any advantage to Souths at all actually.
