Bit of both in the end but I think we did more to win it than the other way round. We were in control for most of it and should have been ahead by more if the refs had correctly awarded us a penalty try instead of just binning Galvin when he and Turuva held Tass up both way offside. They were coming to get us down the backend though but we guts it out although had Galvin grounded that ball over the line, we would have been cooked I reckon but all credit to the long arm and fingers of Stretch who was immense last night along with Keaon and all the boys really who dug deep and won it in the end.

Attention! The Loft pointed out two weeks fa that the Balmain Gypsies [where exactly is their Home Park? Henson?] were totally false favourites against us, complete frauds. Luna Park is NOT a #7 and its purely because he had Martin, Yeo and Cleary around him, not to mention Edwards, that made him look good. Luna Park did almost zero in this encounter and The Humph outplayed him. Pointe!

The man has totalled over 400 run meters in the past two encounters and he was outstanding contra the FULL Penrith pack back in March. On the other side, Arrow is steadily regaining confidence and form. Plus we have a dynamic mainly young athletic back row in Aiken-Duncan-Hubner-Le Blanc. The only complaint form The Loft is for Le Blanc to see more playing time. Love Le Blanc and Hubner.
4. In his pressers, Burt sounds extremely confident about qualifying for the post-season. B. Smith will be available in late June. He will add pop and aggression to the pack. Add in the return of some of the other name players and the squad can cause a wave of shock results.
Barring further horrific injuries, The Loft sees a sparkling finish on the horizon, commensurate with the confidence of the Legandary Coach. Back them now at the big odds on offer- even to qualify for the post-season - as this competition is more volatile than a twirling Yo Yo. I knew we were strong favourites and deservedly so. It was a certain mental defective on here that was pushing the stunningly stupid theory that the Tigers could beat us through some ridiculous notion that teams that get thumped one week turn it around the next. Of course he is now trying to claim that he was just saying that they would put in an improved showing against us, but he knows he was promoting the idea they could win even if he's too much of a coward to admit it.

Tigers won 3 of their previous 4 matches (defeating Knights, Sharks and Dragons) prior to last week's collapse against a red hot Melbourne.

Meanwhile we have just ended a 4 match losing streak with that come-from-behind win against the Broncos where we trailed 0-14 at halftime.
