Penrith fans whining on refs they were in our bay too going at us for making noise I told them off said it’s our home game brother we aren’t in Penrith.

Then laughing at our injured player I called out loudly fancy laughing at an injured player.

This one is so ****ing sweet absolutely magnificent!

I had tears in my eyes at the end there.

Voice is cooked so well worth it
Exactly what you would expect from a bunch of bogan Housos. Penrith truly is the arsehole of Sydney. It's why their primary colour is the same as turds.

It hasn't happened yet. I'm hoping Wayne does whats best for the team and leaves Jye at #1 and moves Trell to the centres. Wayne has never been afraid to put the team above a player no matter how big a name they are.

Gray will play 14 and will be lethal coming on as an X-factor to supercharge the attack when the opposition forwards are fatiguing. Little blokes terrify the bigger blokes more than the other way round on the footy field.

Wayne will be looking at the whole picture and not just this or that position.

I'm looking forward to finally seeing the newer version of Fittrell and seeing him reunite his combination with Cody. Cody needs his support players around him to be exactly where they need to be to really find his old magic. He's that type of player that can't do it on his own. Has always been like that. Just having AJ being instinctively where he needed to be instantly ignited our left edge last night and having Latrell there will make our overall attack even more threatening. Such a pity AJ got injured again. Fingers crossed the scans come up negative.

Getting the band back together on our left edge will make sweet music again.

How good was it though to see Souths lethal left edge attack back on show? A sight for sore eyes!

Humphreys played the perfect part straightening the attack and quickly whipping a perfectly directed ball out to Cody who likewise was able to find his outside men and they all shifted the ball at speed, with speed and precision and there was AJ in the perfect position to steam onto it on about 3 occasions at least.

We need to see more of that this year and we will definitely be in the top half of the comp by years' end - if we can keep our boys on the flaming park!

Leblanc will be hard to keep out of the team tackles hard, runs hard and looks for offload. He hits with aggression

Moale also had a much improved game

The forwards need to do this every week though. Hubner is back next week so someone will miss out

Aj had a chance of scoring near the end of the 1st half, but got bundled into touch, if his shoulder was right i think he would have barged his way over, i hope he is only off for a week, there was a big difference with him on the wing
Yeah, that's the way I looked at it too, definitely would have scored if was right.

What The Loft Saw:
1. Best games ever for Havili, Moale and Duncan. All ran with intent and aggression. The loft has been demanding this type of effort from these guys for the past 2 seasons. If this fails to give them confidence, nought will.
2. Monsters from Outer Blacktown [M.O.B] well Cleary can complain about his key absentees. However as Burt stated post-game we too had plenty of key abesentees. Further the M.O.B had all their starting forward pack, including the important bench rotators. No excuses as The Loft sees it.
3. The Loft noticed that Leota had a tense verbal with Cody W as players shook hands post-game. Leota seems in a world unto himself unlike some of the better mannered M.O.B squad such as Yeo, Martin and T'oo. Re his alleged score: the side angle clearly showed the ball had come loose and that the Referee adjudicated correctly.
4. Alex J looked extremely ready to play and as Burt stated 1day prior to the contest in a podcast Alex has tested the identical speed he always showed in training sessions so he was ready to go. This must inspire Murray because if you do the months of re-hab assignments one can fully recover from serious tendon and ligament issues.
5. The Loft keeps repeating it. Burt is one of the greatest ever football/sporting coaches to have ever lived and that includes all global, much bigger football codes. Throw in Basketball too. If we had another Coach we would now be 0-4 or at best 1-3. The man's difference is immeasurable and the club should have given Burt an open-ended deal getting him to retire here. The man simply loves it here, our steep history, legendary players etc Burt LOVES it here. Club should seek to get him to retire here he is that damn good!!

Leota is a sore loser. Did y'all note his spat with Cody W during the post-game hand touching? At any rate, the ball spewed out of his hand from the side on vision. No score!
Correct. The ball speweed out of the side of his hand meaning he is required to regrip the ball to get a try. The only time having fingers on the ball is okay for grounding is when the ball is planted directly downwards front on meaning there has been no loss of control.

Leota was therefore a loser in more ways than one on the night.

Cody and Wighton were really good on Thursday. They looked so much more fluid hopefully they can keep it up consistently. I think unfortunately seeing the way Bennett coaches we're going to see Latrell return at 1 and Jye Gray to the bench even though Jye doesn't deserve it.

Good news is we're going to have some serious spark off the bench in a fresh Jye Gray running at tired forwards. I wonder if Bennett will do the Humphreys shift to lock and play Jye Gray at 7 in the last 20. That could be genius.

If I'm trying to predict Bennett's team list I think it's going to be.

1. Latrell
2. Myers
3. Wighton
4. Tass
5. Ravalawa
6. Walker
7. Humphreys

14. Gray

Roosters will be fired up next week after getting whipped by the Titans I'm expecting an ambush.

I think that'll be the backs selected for next match. I think Jye will come on for a middle and just float around, bit like Benji did for us in Wayne's final season and how he used Nikorima and other small guys off the bench at the Fins. Basically make it a 5 man spine in attack. Jye's contact in defence has been brilliant and there should be no concerns at all of him holding his own anywhere in the line, especially for only around half a game's worth of minutes.

Cody will be like a kid in a candy store having so many awesome options to dummy or pass to in the red zone.
