Mate, we still have 4 wins on the board which shows the boys have been doing their best most of the time. Even yesterday, Wayne credited the team with hanging in there and keeping the score from being a lot worse after it was 18-0 after just 20 minutes. We fought hard to keep it to 12-4 for the remaining 60 minutes despite being outgunned and could easily have dropped our shoulders and let 50 or 60 on us.
All our forwards look shit because our hooker doesn’t play on the front foot. It’s Pete’s job to get us rolling down field and he can’t do it.
I think this is a bit like the chicken and the egg really. Go forward from the props and a quick play the ball helps the hooker play off the front foot.

He doesn’t hold up the markers. If he runs it’s usually on 4th tackle someone else has to pass on the 5th for a kick. Every teams hooker has good deception around the ruck. We having nothing.
He may not be the best 9 out there, but dont forget its his first year of full time play, at least he tackles, he nearly is always the top tackler he may miss a few, but he tries hard, and he is not on big money, about 200k so we need to give him a break, we have bigger problems, such as no go forward,we went into this season with a shortage of big props, weve had the same rotation every week, does anyone wonder what happens if they get injured?
