Nah you’ve never pointed those out before but I’ll give you credit you were right on this
we had this exact conversation on feb 22nd

Yeh but you didn’t highlight the notes so I thought you were just making it up like usual

It’s still a huge loss for you anyway you said they were nowhere near 5 million and the real figure was 13.7 million
lol
Why don’t you pull up where you said there was no way in the world the nz ratings would be 5 million totalFunny thing is. I did that exactly two posts later.

Its not really a loss - Ive always said Ill go with the data when its reported - and Im not sure Im wrong anyway. Im almost certain theyve posted a cumulative reach figure for NZ and reported it wrong.
Why don’t you pull up where you said there was no way in the world the nz ratings would be 5 million total
Sure if you have no idea just say so don’t backtrack after
Ah so now you are “sure” it’s a reach number so you are accusing the arl of being misleading
Keep digging champ
The articles all use average ratings data
This is low even for you
Talk to whatever reporter you want whoopie doI still dont think they are, but I accept the official position until proven otherwise. Which may never happen
Ill backtrack when you admit to being full of crap yourself.
I believe that having an opinion on this isnt a f**king federal crime.
Yes, Im talking to to the NRL reporter about it at the moment.
I mean sure its gospel when the NRL do it, but bullshit when the AFL do.
Doesn’t really tally does it?Yeh but you didn’t highlight the notes so I thought you were just making it up like usual

Individual warriors games have been reported as getting 450k to 500kDoesn’t really tally does it?
first 9 rounds 1.59 million avg 169k per round
next 18 rounds 12.1 million avg 636k per round
thatb would be a hell of an uplift in audience after round 9!
Talk to whatever reporter you want whoopie do
You said nz tv ratings were nowhere near five milion
You’ve also said tv ratings are not the most relevant stat to determine tv deals
Yet the nrl themselves are using that metric as a reason to justify a bigger tv deals than afl
It’s not the first time I’ve seen you questioning nrl tv ratings yet never once questioned afl on their crowd figures which are pure bs.
Here’s the funny thing the article also refers to super rugby tv ratings being the same numberwell in this case its the none who wrote the article, so yeah I will, mostly because he will be able to confirm the source data.
I dont think they are at an average level, but hey im only basing that off every other piece of data we have from Sky that is reach based.
I said that in regard to Foxtel only.
That doesnt make them right. It makes it what they want it to be. The NRL NEED it to be a relative stat. YOU need it to be a relative stat.
AFL data largely tallies with that provided by stadium owning governing bodies. So Ill take two sources against your feelings.
Have Fox given a reason why they no longer publish a daily table of STB figures?Minutes watched - they did the same thing for the Vegas opener. Going to be the focus for Fox/DAZN, as it is for most streamers.
The art of the deal.Ill backtrack when you admit to being full of crap yourself.
Using Reach to determine a programme's place in FTA tables hasn't made that much difference to AFL. Whereas the inclusion of regionals has pushed NRL well up the ranking.Publicly available free-to-air TV numbers show the AFL consistently win when games to head-to-head.
