Sunday night 6:30pm is the right timeslot for Perth. In the first month, due to warm weather, it already has games in that timeslot. Maybe in the first month, just reduce Perth's home games to one.

The rest of the year, Perth hosts 11 games. Also take advantage of a few public holiday Mondays in other cities, by playing games on Sunday evening. Dates for this year:

- Vic Labour day March 11
- Easter Monday April 1
- Qld Labour day May 6
-Reconciliation day Canberra May 27
- Kings Birthday NZ June 3
- Kings Birthday Aus June 10 (NSW, Vic)
- Townsville show holiday July 1

Additionally Magic Round does have a game at Sunday 6:30pm.
I'm very much pro-Perth, so don't take my post as anything but, but if we were avoiding WA games in the earlier stages of the season due to heat, we'd need more than the opening month to be avoiding it! This year, we were still getting 30°C+ temperatures up until about 4 weeks ago.

Read it again... it's a relocation of existing home games. Zero extra games. Taking existing low drawing home fixtures, banding them together to create an event.
Currently the Dragons are playing in front of around 9k.. perfect example.
Exactly why Sydney doesn’t need more games lol

It’s raining in Sydney now if those games were at Accor it still would struggle to sell out

this forum was having a hissy fit over one Perth home going to nso

you are suggesting Sydney gets up to ten more nrl games

That’s a good thing crowds won’t fall in winter due to the cold

lol..You go from one side of the argument to the other ..

Too many games in Sydney …

Perth team gotta play home games 4000 kms away at North Sydney oval…

I suggest if you are not a shut in that you turn the computer off and go and get some fresh air …
Moving magic from Brisbane is the same as nso oval getting one game to reactivate the fanbase in the north shore and grow Sydney memberships and revenues

Nobody's moving f**king magic round you dope!
Listen! Take existing home games, for Bulldogs, Rabbitohs, Dragons, Eels and Tigers.. have them co- host thier home games at accor for Saturday and Sunday.
This is independent of Magic Round.
People can buy a Weekend ticket or a day and it will sell out.
2 days of 80k instead of 5 9k to 15k crowds.
It'll create an event to get people in Sydney going to the footy in bigger numbers. 5 games that would pull 70k goes to 160k .

Getting a bit salty aren’t you? It’s all been nice and pleasant recently (if not a bit boring)

As you know ..they’ll have the opportunity to watch plenty of games in Sydney ..without giving up home games to connect with the real home audience in Perth…

Sydney clubs involved in moving home games to Homebush Olympic stadium
Would need to compensated in a deal with the NRL
Come up with a name for the round
Not magic round. But other name's
Get together Round ?
Gather Round ?
Crowd Around Round 😊

10 more is it WB...
if the schedule is done right could very well worked out to be maybe 1 or 2 extra, just have to make sure all Sydney teams are the home team
