This is just your speculative opinion dressed up as a "fact".

PNG will be burdensome to the ARLC, broadcasters and RLPA for decades. Anyone who thinks it'll produce a long list of NRL players within a decade has rocks in their head.

Perth will never command much revenue from the broadcasters and advertisers. Neither will NZ2. That's the reality facing our game.

You believe every dumbarse click bait claim that's been made by V'landys. For months you arrogantly claimed two of the next three licences would be PNG Pride in Cairns and Melbourne Bears. All because V'landys made some smug comments to the media. He's said a lot of dumb things that were abandoned when the shit hit the fan.
Two points to your argument against Perth:

1) why question the CoE and stadium upgrades when the state government are clearly on board. How about waiting for the bid before death riding it. Abdo’s comment following the Perth/Beattie meeting indicates it’s been discussed

2) We’ve heard for years that despite rating AFL can command more $s for their TV rights due to national exposure for advertisers … yet Perth offers nothing?

Afl had more teams and more games and goes for longer

and yet the last tv deal they were 20 million pa apart

a Perth nrl team currently offers little to Aussie tv viewers based on generating new subscribers or viewers in wa

I did say png and bears were next, bears being locally wherever they laid their base.... I thought a second Melbourne since it had 8 million population in Victoria, and they are currently feeding the storm, who better to start another derby in one of the Austraila's/Pacific's biggest cities, and PNG is bringing in govt dollars, hardly a noose, your death riding every bid is making you akin to the hypocritical karen crew you hated not to long ago.. I believe there is plenty of expansion areas to go, not need to hate everyone of them, based on your bias opinion
Melbourne cannot support a second team.

Victoria doesn't have 8 million people. At the moment it is less than 7 million.

PNG will be an absolute f**king disaster in every way. Your refusal to acknowledge any of the points about its shortcomings sums up the futility of trying to reason with you.

I think the argument has been that because Perth's timeslots are more likely to be Pay TV timeslots, it offers more for Pay TV then FTA.

Now, that may be true to a degree.. but your argument about a national market for sponsors is a good counter to that.

People with a small mindset will find or invent negatives to vindicate their stance. This thread is littered with these people posting thousands of posts arguing against a Perth team. They have no understanding of risk analysis or the advantages of peeping out your bedroom window and seeing there is a bigger world than Logan or Balmain.

NSW Gov, Vic Gov and QLD Gov reneged on promises to build new stadia over the last few years.

Has anyone proved that teams from Queensland and NSW add more value to the AwFuL deal?

That's exactly what they're doing. They're ignoring vital evidence, such as television ratings and registered players. They selectively quote the double header and Origin to create the false impression that there's a large audience waiting to support a local NRL team. We won't know how many active supporters will invest in a local club until they're given a licence. Until then we're speculating.

3 way merger Newtown Ipswich jets and east Brisbane

Tigers money with jets brand & grass roots location. Vlandys wanted this all along (like Perth bears)
