Be interesting to see what Johns would get if he takes the next step and pushes a ref like J Smith did.

Just like in this Johns case.....it was the ref that f'ed up then too.

The NRL judiciary are a disgrace and now a laughing stock to every other sporting body in Australia. I've always been of the opinion that no player is ever bigger than the game but it seems like that doesn't apply to A. Johns. The bottom line is that if it was ANY other player other than him then there's no chance in hell it would've been downgraded :roll:

What did Harry Kewell get for abusing the ref infront of a world wide audience?

We all wanted Harry to get off,cause he was playing for Australia
is this case Johns is playing for newcastle and he has 14 teams supporters against him

just proves that johns is right by threatening to pull the pin on his career if he doesnt get is way. pretty pathetic. i dont care it got downgraded but the fact it did because he threatened to quit is pretty weak.

he has the league rapped around his finger.
