But we haven't always been useless (you forget the 80s?)... and have produced our share of world class players - and if Aust had supported our development, people like Donnelly, Sutcliffe, Reid, Dempster, & Cowie would have stellar test records, and Clarrie Grimmett would have played test cricket for his home nation!

But that aside - England can't lose the Ashes, they are simply a better team no matter who Aust picks

Most of us on here have been saying that for a while. It's not sad for us, maybe by getting a hiding like this a few people high up might realise Australian cricket isn't going as well as the selectors and the channel Nien team think.
