Now yes that is embarassing... Poor bowling from the quicks and weak batting. WHy Marsh was at 7 is beyond me.. I doubt Marsh has batted at since he was 7 and batting right handed. Hopefully Bollinger gets a go next game I think Johnson needs a break.

99 run loss

Punter, sheer genius deciding to bowl first in 32c heat in a day nighter game

Never mind the fact that India would have done the same thing had they won the toss, better to heap sh*t on Ponting than acknowledge reality.

WTF happened to White, hes batting as slowly as Clarke was.
Watson is far too inconsistent, really expected more from him.

Everything had to go right chasing 350 so it was going to be a miracle if we chased it down. Watson is no more inconsistent than Haydos and Gilly IMO.

ahh the tree hugger returns

aussies1st, How dare you criticise White.

Skeepe will tell you like with Clarke, the loss of hayden, gilchrist, m waugh, rick mccosker, bruce reid and the don all contribute to them batting slowly now

I doubt we will see Punter field again in a day nighter on a road if he wins the toss, nothing is surer.

Hayden was far more consistent than Watson especially in his prime. But the key is both him and Gilly were destructive batters, when they fired you would get away to an awesome start. Watson doesn't fire in the opening stanza, you have to wait until the 30th over before he starts unleashing.
