Marsh is a better batter than Hopes so we don't miss the batting aspect. Definitely missing his bowling option though.

Given they are looking at chasing over 300 then they will miss Hopes at the end, White will have to drop to no7 now and he hasnt done much of the big hitting role lately

Hopes is hit and miss and hes very rarely delivered when the going gets tough.

I'll never forget the look of anguish on his face as he went back to his mark and prepared to bowl the last ball of the 49th over last game.

Looked like he was contemplating as to whether he should actually trundle down and bowl the last ball in the over or not.

I reckon he'll learn from last time and bowl alot better at the death.

We really need to work on our death bowling IMO. Watto has been pumped again Johnson always gets pumped in the powerplays and Siddle and Hilfy tend to go for plenty to. Maybe try spin in the power play

Why so ?? Indian ODI's tend to always be high scoring affairs. The pitch is a belter. If we don't make over 300 chasing this than that is embarassing.

Siddle is really stepping up as a good death bowler. He was the best today during the powerplay and he won us the match last game. Johnson has got nothing at the death, Lee gets spanked at times but he can be an asset at the death with his reverse swing.
