328. We did good at the death to salvage that but still 25 runs short. They'll get us in the 48th over. You heard it here first.

I thought the Indian bowling was generally flat and poor, didn't look like taking a wicket all innings. All poor shots.

Overall agree, but there were times when they sharpened up and things looked a touch more difficult (shithouse batting aside). I suspect (hope) with our better lineup of quicks we'd be able to make batting a bit harder than the conditions suggest.

328 a good total, but not beyond doubt as it should have been.

This is still a hard score to chase but we should have batted them out of the game

7/328 off 50 overs is the final score.

It is still a very competitive total, but we only have ourselves to blame if India manage to chase this down. We will be looking back at all those overs in the latter half of the innings where we were too slow (hint: Watson) and gifting the Indians cheap wickets where their fieldsmen barely had to move at all.

Thank God for Faulkner's and especially Johnson's hitting at the end, but we should've easily got 350 at the bare minimum when we were only one down for most of the innings on a flat pitch.

50/50 now, 329 is steep even on this wicket and Australia have superior bowlers you'd think.
They have quality batsmen though.

I personally hope they get bowled out cheap and go home embarrassed.

Congrats Australia. See you Sunday.

45 run win IMO.

The rumour has it that NZ will be disqualified for cheating as Grant Elliot is South African and under rule 6.9 on page 4 of the book that is classed as naughty and also because old mate Daniel Vettori wears giant glasses whilst batting which obviously gives him unfair superhero like vision

Lots of cheating from NZ in that game, disqualification is on the cards.

I think that cameo from Mitch could make the difference.

Then again if he and the other Mitch get some early wickets then these jerks may get rolled for 200 and the Indian crowd (lol) will go home sour faced.

I'm surprised BM hasn't claimed NZ can't possibly win on the basis that those two plus McCullum have a combined age of over 100.

Starc, Johnson and Hazlewood nab 2 or 3 early wickets (which preferably includes getting Sharma and Kohli out cheaply) and it's all over.

However, the Indians get a good start during the first 20 overs and concede no more than 2 wickets, they will chase down 329 with minimal risk.
