Yeah not having a crack by any means more just a comment on the fact that I think all these huge totals lately have skewed the perception of chasing 300+

This is true, and I think it's become a bit of a forgotten art to get a big start in a big run chase. For example we would never have won the other semi if McCullum hadn't got us going.

I've always maintained that it should take something special to chase down 300, unfortunately favourable batting conditions and rubbish bowling attacks has made it much easier. Look at how Ireland coasted past the Windies.
