Lovely shot by Warner. They're really bowling like shit this series.

People don't like the pitch but half the people lucky enough to watch live test cricket right now wouldn't be there if it wasn't for the stands built because the AFL committed to playing here. Plus the considerable SACA debt that was wiped by the SA government as part of the deal.

Adelaide was never that great for bowling. So it's only become slightly more tame than it was before. And in return South Australian cricket is not bankrupt and tens of thousands of people will get to watch live cricket that otherwise wouldn't have.

A very small price to pay.

Hardly. The only player at risk is Bailey. The rest are safe.
Rogers himself has said there is a good chance he gets dropped if he doesn't score here.
Warner just made a ton you dipshit. And as for Clarke...I assume you meant Rogers.

Lol at calling me a dipshit when you didn't bother reading. I said other than Clarke and Warner. I.e. Watson, Rogers, Smith and Bailey are out of form and need runs.

"sounded like two noises". Chappell is senile, it wasnt near the f**king bat. Outside leg was the only problem even with the naked eye.

f**k off you AFL loving dribbling clueless spastic. The drop in wicket looks like a boring shitty road you could bat for years on and i'm not going to talk about how they have ruined the look of the ground.

I reiterate what others have said regarding the New Adelaide Oval. I've just turned on the tv for the first time today...wow, the ground looks awful. What was once one of the most, if not the most beautiful cricket ground in the world looks like a big concrete crapshack. I will always savour the memories and photos I have when I visited Adelaide Oval during the summer of 2008/09. Miss the scenery of the churches and other landmarks in the background

Sadly, the AFL have tried to turn the ground into another monstrosity like the MCG, let alone the dropin pitch

BRING BACK THE OLD ADELAIDE OVAL

I'l hold my verdict on the pitch until 5 days are played. I still think it'll turn later in the game.

The churches are still there and can be seen behind the old scoreboard that is still there.
