We do

Perth will favour , We don't lose at the Gabba.

A slightly more experienced and better spinner gets us a win over South Africa here last year as well (didn't help Pattinson broke down either)

England doctored their pitches so they were slow as hell. Why should we give them the Adelaide oval at all ?

We need play for an hour to a session or so to clean up this Ingerland side

Hopefully rain will stay away for that long

Talks like a typical arrogant australian

"Oh that's unusual, day 5 action"

Build it up so it would be so f**king sweet when australia does get beaten/ pulverised by the next team who beats them

we are smashing them brother, plus good experience for us when we travel

It's just such a boring wicket man. Every year the same old story. It doesn't even crumble any more really so it's extra worthless.

At least consider increasing the time period between the waca and the ao.

Why are Johnson and Harris bowling? Imagine them doing their backs this late in the match. Get out two most important bowlers off.

And I'm saying it really isn't flat. You can't bowl 152 km/h on flat pitches. A nuffy like Steve Smith does not get a heap of turn on a dead pitch.

Yes overall it favours the batsmen but no more than a bunch of pitches around the world and there is plenty there for bowlers if you bowl well.

The speedgun shows the speed that comes out of the hand. Whether a pitch is flat or not has nothing to do with it. You're just mad that the runs PJHAHA has scored this year now has significantly less value.

jealous whinging kiwi if I ever saw one , though not a rare thing in these threads at times

C'mon now we're a lovely bunch :D

On the match itself, whether tomorrow gets rained off or not, I can't see anything other than a comfortable Australian series victory. England delaying the inevitable atm.

Yes I want decks that favour the Australians. This one doesn't.

Adelaide did once favour the Aussies when we had Shane Warne.

Personally I love the fact that the Australian wickets all have their unique characteristics.

Despite Adelaide now being a drop in they have tried to retain the previous style by using the same soil to make them.

I heard an interview with the curator and he said he doesn't expect it to crumble for a few years into the new drop in pitches.

Something about them all being completely new so the clay wasn't right yet to start breaking up.

Gee Lyon has been disappointing.

Its not just the fact that he cant get a bagful on this pitch, I was watching him bowl yesterday and every ball is the same pace and every ball is an offie.

Never once saw him bowl with any variation in pace or turn, no toppies or arm balls.

He is way too predictable atm.
