Who was the producer at 9 who thought people would want to see how Shane Warne puts sauce on his pie.
Fwiw his method is ridiculous.

This f*cking rain better piss off. Will be absolutely devastating if we can't get to 2-nil today.

Wouldn't be devastating... you are devastating them... they are showinbg a wee bit of fight, with key players (Bell, Root, Pieterson, Prior, Broad and Anderson) showing an indication they now realise they are in a series... Cook too good (surely) to keep going like this - so, whether 1-0 or 2-0 it really is about whether the character and pride of the English makes a more profound appearance, or they really are past it...

He still eats pies? Hmmm, lipo-suction, or his mum's pills still doing the job?

Ahh good old "if" comment

Heres one

If the english took all their catches they win this test

yep, fact...

and if your bowling attack was fit, Mr Slave would not be playing...

and, if the Poms had won the toss...

It is funny though, since VVS and Dravid the Aussies have been a bit shy about the follow on... thought the attach should have been pretty fresh, but six of one, half dozen of the other... rain is part of cricket, and sometimes gives teams that don't deserve it, a reprieve...

what if play starts on time or near to it, and we smack the poms anyway and go 2-0 up

that the most probably "if" outcome

If we had enforced the follow on, well the game would have been over now

f**k the follow on. England could be setting us 100 to win this afternoon because our fast bowlers had been driven into the ground by 3 straight days of hard work in oppressive heat following an injury to Ryan Harris. We've been succeeding when our bowlers have been hitting the high 140s-150s. Bowlers need breaks to maintain that.

It'll be fine. The rain will clear through the morning and we'll knock over the last 4 wickets without too much fuss.

Weather is just behaving as predicted so far, morning rain clearing. The main band of rain was always skidding across to the north and there's nothing of note behind what's coming down at the ground right now according to the radar.

With a full day to get overs in, If Enlgand draw it will be our bowlers fault, not the weather.

But hey, if we'd set Enlgand 1,000, we'd be safe....
