8 consecutive days of great test cricket. For so long during home summers we've either been belted or belted others. I can't remember the last time we had such a sustained period of quality, competitive, high level test cricket. Every single day there has been some good batting and some good bowling. A tough contest in every innings.

Two and half more tests just like that please.

the banning of Smith and Warner has helped even up things

They are showing this Handscomb catch a lot, why not match it up with Rahane's in the first test?
Seems to trigger the Indians so why not.
I've only seen Rahane's catch on youtube, but i gor no problem with that it, I also feel Handsome took a great catch.

While I have never cared for Warner, I like Smith, but I haven't missed either. The sum of this contest is greater than its individual parts.

And as a spectator, I would rather lose a test by 30 runs than win by 8 wickets, the former is much entertaining even if bitter sweet.
