I'm loving having NZ here. Brisbane Sydney Melbourne next time. Good crowds, plenty banter, this could be the beginning of something rivaling the Aust NZ rivalries in other sports like RL, RU, netball and AFL.

agree, get sick of playing f**king India all the time

Kiwis are a good bunch, Indians are only good for trolling on social media

Unfortunately India are the money makers.

No different from the 80s when the Windies were out here every second year (and ironically we barely saw India).

I’m actually looking forward to see Kane on this deck... love watching him battle against good attacks.

AFL??? We don't even know what that shit it

The cricket rivalry is already on a par with union... just the opposite!

They know what they are doing. Touring here for test championship points after already being here for the T20 World cup to acclimatise to the conditions like what we did in the Ashes.

All of the bluster about rankings aside, we knew that this series was going to be very revealing. Australia are the yardstick- at least to us. A few players, weaknesses and tactics have been exposed and we've been shown (so far) up for what we are- admiral battlers that don't quite have that killer instinct that you need to really be at the top of the Test match game. Hopefully, this series does us a lot of good. Hopefully this is the end of Raval and Santner and hopefully we all calm the hell down about Ferguson as a prospect.

Nicholls and Latham under a bit of pressure too, IMO

Just look at some of the flea-brained comments on here about his leadership mate...half the miserable merkins would drop him every time he makes a field or bowling change. It seems like what he's been thrown into as captain (and what he's dragged this side out of) is lost on many.

A bloke who bats seven, is a good to very good keeper, and captains...and still averages 30 odd in a largely winning side? No issues for mine

Australia are back playing winning cricket under him and he took over the reigns when your beds were burning. Also, Australia have developed a new identity and he's a big enough man to accomodate Smith and Warner with all of their talent, history and opinions. He may not be the man you want, but he's the man that you need.

Is this guy Williamson's ring-in older cousin who played cricket once in high school?

Who’s the biggest imposter in this series? Santner as a test bowler or Wade as a test bat??

Genuinely not sure of the answer although Santner is clearly the biggest weakness atm
He could be an ancestor of Clarrie Grimmett

the AFL died in NZ when the Govt allowed public toilets to be open 24/7...

now all the in the closet homo’s had somewhere else to hook up.

Contrary to popular belief, your best player doesn’t necessarily mean they should be your captain. The best leader in the group gets the honour of being captain, the best player bats or bowls.

I wouldn’t be too harsh as it’s very hard to win in Australia. Sides really need to be on top of their game and then some to win here. NZ have deserved their ranking to this point. You blokes won on the sub continent, beat England and numerous others at home. It’s not all doom and gloom.
