You could tell when he got out there yesterday, it was just classic Smith. The shuffles and over-exaggerated leaves and calls. He was ready to go. Amazing powers of concentration

Oh, I think Kane and Taylor are probably 1 and 2 as far as batsmen go. And our bowling unit is pretty good- great when they're on song. Southee's a bit past it now as far as being a genuine strike bowler. We're really missing what they hoped Ferguson might be.

NZ's bowling was at its best when both Boult and Southee could take a wicket bowling in tandem.

That's the thing about Australia- they get Starc at you from one end and then Cummins from the other. Then they bring on Hazelwood. There's an injury and they bring in Pattinson. There's no respite.
