Exactly. Not particularly concerned by one bad shot. Particularly given if he'd read the delivery right it would probably have been a decent (if risky) shot.

If he starts to make a habit of it then there'll be an issue.

I was going through the players post warne and mcgrath and we have only had a handful of players who came in post those guys and play 50 tests. Off the top of my head johnson, siddle, lyon, haddin and warner (smith will play his 50th test at the scg)

Basically my point is i think the selectors havent been especially patient with players and guys get the arse really quickly so nobody gets a chance to grow. I just hope they dont completely ruin renshaw like mark waugh tells him he needs to prove he can score quickly in shield cricket or some thing insane like that

Yeah I agree totally. Renshaw has shown an excellent temperament for Test cricket, he just needs to get used to playing at that level and tweak a few things in his game. He's already looking to rotate the strike a lot more, for example. That may mean spending some time back in Shield cricket so they really need to manage him well
