It's a terrible wicket and the current system is an indictment on Test match cricket. Stop laying down roads and start making it an actual test.

Here here. Sick to bloody death of roads being dished out. Are the current crop of curators actually really workers from the RMS or the equivilant of?

Where's Jack House when you need him?

Curators do really suck these days, honestly everyone and their dog gets 100's. It should be an achievement to get 100's.

Marcus North shouldn't be able to score a Test hundred. 15-20 years ago he wouldn't have even been considered for Test cricket. That's how bad these wickets are.

How long has SpannerTard been watching test cricket???? Adealide has always been a belter the first 3 days, and has always taken spin late on days 4 and 5. Also it becomes up and down so it gives everyone a chance. Batsman always score runs here and the good bowlers get wickets, maybe the bowlers are the problem???

Adelaide has always been a road, nothing new here, however it does seem to deteriorate faster than most on day 4 and 5

long way to go yet

and just on Wade, he was picked for his keeping over Haddin as Haddin is certainly the better batsman atm but his keeping to spin bowling is terrible

I guess the issue is that Brisbane was a road too... whether or not it deteriorates will be interesting, but we're lauding Clarke and others for piling on runs on wickets that offer bowlers nothing....

The NZ Aust test in Tassie showed that wickets that offer bowlers something provide excitment too, there's a balance somewhere - but not sure that having 500 runs on day 1 is terribly exciting tbh, regardless of the outcome

Clarke was the only one to make a double and its his 3rd for the year, he deserves the the credit

Not sure what happened with Brisbane, usually a good wicket. All the rain might've just kept it fresh and it never deteriorated.

Good to see Heals kept his fitness. Poor guy was blowing a gasket just demonstrating some keeping:eek:

Is he??? I'm not sure on Haddins form atm and know the last tests he was involved in he wasn't near his best but thought his keeping to spin was at least as good as Wade's? :?

Yeah he wasn't so lucky this time with his Challenge. Could see the spot and the bat was nowhere near the ground. Wishful thinking Chunky Smith

Was the mark already there and we just see it on that frame because the back of the blade came into view? Anyway they couldn't overturn a decision given that it's there.
