Ponting gone. Played all around it, looked very slow, chops it onto his stumps. 16. Surely he's got to go.

looks like we are in real trouble, but Hussey and Clarke scored about two thirds of our runs in the first innings so providing Clarke stays in we are still in good shape.

Still, SA in the box seat for a victory now. 1 more wicket tonight and we are in all sorts

13 wickets today, so much for a terrible road like pitch which is killing cricket. It's a top quality pitch, you bat well you score runs and if you bowl well you can get wickets. It gives everyone a chance.

Horrible last session for us. Punter looked shit from word go. When will he finally do the right thing and walk away. Quiney is shit and never should have been selected. Need Clarke and Hussey to form a little partnership tomorrow. It will be tough without Pattinson when it is our turn to bowl.

Half expecting Channel 9 to release a limited edition Rob Quiney signed bat commerating his brilliant 9 on debut.

Be quick though, there is only 9 available

Malcolm Conn will buy one, at least...

The coach will buy one, best 9 runs he has seen wasnt it?

Quineys wife will get one as well

Have a cry , what a suprise on day 3 the wicket is taking some turn and starting to play up and down. Like it has done forever . And did the wickets back then have plenty more in them or were the bowlers back then much better??? I reckon the bowlers of that time were just a lot lot better.

Flat track bullies like Watson, Warner and Haddin would not survive Test cricket in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. You like roads. I hate them.

Who said i like roads??? 13 wickets today on a road

The wicket started to turn and play some tricks just like most Adelaide oval wickets of the last 30 years. This is a top cricket wicket, bit in it early, flattens out to a good batting track and then by day 4 and 5 the bowlers come into it. Well they came into even earlier on day 3. Yes the wickets these days may be more batting friendly but i believe the bowling quality is just not there anymore. If you had a whine about the wicket in the Gabba test i wouldn't have said boo because by and large it was a disappointing wicket but this Adelaide wicket was nothing that we haven't seen for 30 years.
