That wicket was an absolute road that didn't break up at all, this one is already playing a few tricks but yes i'd love a 400 lead to feel safe.Need 400 minimum IMO.
Sth Africa have chased down 430 odd in the 4th Innings of a Test against Australia last tour hear and I think they'll be bouyed by they that.
Flat track bullies like Watson, Warner and Haddin would not survive Test cricket in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. You like roads. I hate them.
Im pretty sure there was a heck of a lot more drawn games back then than there is now.
You sure showed him..........
Kallis will bat in the second innings but is in serious doubt for Perth :|
You sure showed him..........

I'm sure you've still got nothing. Are you sure? Or are you pretty sure?
I'm sure you've still got nothing.
So if the pitches did a lot more back then and the bowling was better why in the last 10 or 15 years have we seen more results than the 60,70. and 80's????I'm sure you just equated the number of draws in an era as directly proportional to the number of cricket pitches which are roads.

I believe a lot of it can be put down to Steve Waugh and Australia's agressive mindset in the late 90's which did a lot to change the game.
