Big stadium's like da G, Perth or the Flagship are comfortable for fans and can fit a shitload in but cricket played at grounds like this are much more enjoyable to look at imo.

Agree 100%.

Sharing grounds with AFL means they get fantastic facilities but they lose all character. It’s another reason I wish we played more tests each home summer - how good would an early summer test vs. one of the smaller nations somewhere like Drummoyne be?

I think the main issue is money

The top end tests lost tons I believe.

So in one way I can understand it, but in another way they should sacrifice 2 tests a year at these suburban grounds in October or even in winter and take tests to the people, build and grow the game rather than just chase the dollar today

Getting to the point of thinking about the follow on.

Should probably bat 50 or so overs, score as many as we can and give the bowlers a bit of a break

My feeling with ACB swimming in cash at the moment is to spend some and grow the game. Get people interested and playing.

Take a long term view while they can.

Once again, thank ole mate Sutherland. We were supposed to host Bangladesh in September and he cancelled it, saying ‘it was too difficult to organise and would probably not make money’.

What a f**king cancer on the game that guy was.
