What a fantastic day at Manuka! MO really is a top venue, hopefully this enhances the ground's reputation and we continue getting test matches. Only downside was having to drink that XXXX piss. Whatever cocaine/pure pig fat they put in the ice cream was pretty f**king good though.

I didn’t bring this up in the Gabba test discussion but my dad said that having Sri Lanka play at the Gabba was an insult to the Brisbane public, as the Gabba is one of the flagship grounds and deserve the best.
Well your Dad can go to Sri Lanka and tell them that because that's an insult to the Sri Lankan public.

Who said the Gabba is a flagship ground, wtf is that any way?

The Hobart public would have loved a test against Sri Lanka. Or any test for that matter.

Yeah, probably best not to bring that up this test either.

No offence, but your dad should STFU.

Flagship grounds can guarantee power, for one

Yeah I’m not quite sure how the Gabba is a flagship ground. It’s the fifth best ground in the country by far.

The problem with Hobart is that they just haven’t showed up to the last few tests they’ve been given. I think Canberra has comfortably jumped them now.

There's a reason why the Gabba and WACA were the first 2 tests. The cricket was exciting.

By the time they got to boring highways like Melboring and Sydneystan, no one gave a shit.

Sydney a boring highway?

At least it's not a drop in

Brisbane is an average ground but it has the best wicket. The latter is worth a lot.

Might be a fun venue but the pitch is a road homie. Australia scored 3 centuries on it. Might as well be synthetic

There isn’t a lot doing off this pitch

Be the best day to bat today you'd reckon. Certainly won't be any of that day one seam left, especially as the sun bakes it.

Interested to see how much it turns for Lyon as the rough dries out more.

Big stadium's like da G, Perth or the Flagship are comfortable for fans and can fit a shitload in but cricket played at grounds like this are much more enjoyable to look at imo.

Well you often only have to look at part of The Flagship, because the other bit is too dark.

Manuka is an awesome little ground.

Unfortunate to have two batsmen struck so quickly in succession. Will make the bouncers a talking point, for sure
