Lol @ Trott with 1000 runs this year at an average of 30 odd. Only he could do that. The Pommy version of Cowan.

Shot cap'n. think these two could do the job especially if Twatto digs in.

Adam: "Cant see how that was Hughes fault. Cowan, hit it to the fielder for a 50/50 run and ran. Why should Hughes run, when there wasn't one in it? Stupid run out, but that was Cowan's fault. Now he gets out, and within an over he's brought the game back to manageable by Sri Lanka."

on Cricinfo. Is that you BM?

Let us know when you make 1000 runs in a year mate
Yeh difference is I'm not being paid to play Test cricket.

And I suppose you don't criticize any professional sports people?

No but shows I'm not alone in my opinion. Adam is spot on.

You don't run risky singles in a Test with so much time left.

In hindsight if you knew the misfield was about to happen yes there's a run there but not originally when Cowan made the decision.

Yes Hughes contributed by not giving a loud 'NO' but the problem started with Cowans f**kup.
Phil hughes has 112 @ 37

I know which I'd prefer
So Hughes has averaged the same as Trott for 2013.

Averageing 37 for your first 3 innings back in the team is fine. Averageing 37 over 15 tests in 12 months is ridiculous. Trott is a very selfish player.

Just because Hughes made a bad decision doesn't mean he should be dropped, jesus, if anyone should be dropped it's Cowan, he's pretty close to the epitome of an awful player, he's like a more defensive, less consistent Katich..

Team for India: -

1) Warner
2) Hughes
3) Khawaja
4) Clarke
5) M.Hussey
6) Watson
7) Wade
8) Siddle
9) Starc
10) Pattinson
11) Lyon

12) Bird

I'd be very happy with this team.
I like Hughes but you are making a fool of yourself yet again bm. He has massive issues running between wickets
You can't blame him for this one AND the Warner one. He did the exact opposite this time.

With Warner he reacted to the call without hesitationg. This time he ignored the call.

He did absolutely NOTHING wrong in the Hobart runout. His mistake in todays runout only added to the original mistake.

Yes you can. Both times he completely ignored his partner whilst running, or in today's case standing still.

Cowan is a shit player who can't score against fuller deliveries. Someone summed him up perfectly earlier as a shit Simon Katich (who was decent).

Can't see him being in the team in 6 months time, Watson opening with Warner is much better. Bring Usman in for Cowan.

The difference is you dribbler you blatantly critize one batsmen and then have the nerve to use your mouth as a penis pump for another batsmen even though the one your critizing not only has scored more runs, but is statistically and opinion wise a much better batsmen than the one whose pole is embedded in your mouth.

You're an inconsistent numbnut.

No. The first time his biggest mistake was listening to his partner. Warner said yes. Hughes ran. Warner then changed his mind.

Complete 180 compared to this situation.

Hughes will do great in Sydney, he might even have a role to play in the 2nd innings. And much to ED's disappointment he will be on the plane to India.
