Watson is getting the ball to dart back in. Good challenge by Bravo.
It deviated off the bat, it was out. No doubt in my mind he hit it. He got away with the first one, not so lucky on the 2nd occasion. The reality though is he hit it. Hotspot was never going to show it as the angle of the bat was not straight. Snicko confirmed the edge, frankly that is enough evidence for me to give the decision.
The reality is there was absolutely no conclusive proof he hit it. The deviation you saw could have been camera trickery ... it happens a lot. And you should never use snicko to confirm something.
The fact is, if that was Watson as batsmen and given out based on that evidence you would be up in arms and disgruntled.
It was plainly an awful decision.

Exactly and lets be honest he was very lucky to survive the first one. As a batsman you know if you hit it. Chanderpaul looked directly to the keeper. OUT!
So we are gonna use body language as an official means now... How many time do players look directly at the ref (in league) after they score... You could assume they knocked on or were offside...
You ever batted in the top order? When you hit it, you do instinctly have a look at where it goes!
exactly.. I swear half the clowns around these parts have no clue.
