Both are good players, but its refreshing to see some reality checks.

I think all that's saving them is the fact that Trott, Pietersen and Swann have all gone. Otherwise those three would be toast.

An example has to be made IMO. Prior should be sacked for Buttler or Foster and Cook replaced as captain. But with Bell in such bad form who do you give it to? I am unsure about Broad as a serious option in test cricket.

Prior is very due, Broad and Plunkett can hold a willow
Indian bowlers get knackered 2nd dig, there will be no quick multiple wickets falling

The poms are a spent force, Cook, Bell are in terrible form and Prior is totally finished.

The best spinner in England right now is Monty and he is on the piss again.
As for fast bowlers its too early for Tymal Mills and Jamie Overton.
Steve Finn needs more time in county cricket before I would throw him back in the test side. He is over his yips but still needs to be nursed along.
