2nd and final test on in a few days time

I wouldnt be suprised if we dont make any changes, sighting that we only lost by 1 wicket against the no1 test nation plus we want a final test hit out before the ashes :sarcasm:

Hopefully Dougie will be ok, otherwise maybe George gets his debut?

selection will be interesting, gee we are gonna miss Dougie if he's not available

I dont expect any changes, our selectors are idiots and have been for ages, I dont expect them to all of a sudden grow a brain cell

against the no1
Fair call under Ricky gorrrnnn from being number 1 to number 4 and falling.

Each test lost brings us down further.

How low can we go under Ricky's man love?

If Dougie is not fit, that will save friken North again. Just you watch them replace Dougy with Steve Smith!

losing a home ashes 5-0 would be pretty low id say, low of lows actually

Then again we will have Peter Siddle back as the saviour

Love the short turn around, not long to wait.

Hughes for North.
Smith for Hauritz, the upside if he does well is worth the risk of him getting smacked around.

Yep I can see that happening. I rate Smith but him and Hauritz as 2 of our bowlers scares the sh*t out of me, Smith isn't ready for a frontline role yet and Hauritz is leaking runs and not being used in pressure situations. But for the love of God, piss North off.

Aust will play well, draw or win and the test careers of North, Hussey, and Hauritz will be prolonged for a season

I can't see how anyone could justify North's position in the test side. Not Ponting. Not the selectors.

In saying all that, I can't see how North gets dropped :x

North and Hussey are safe while captain cluess is around, it will take an ashes loss at home for something to be done.

We really need to drop Hauritz first and foremost, Bring in Smith.

At least North can tweak it and can create a few chances. Also Clarke and Katich can roll the arm over for a few. So spin bowling wise we wont be losing anything at all, but increasing the batting depth with Smith in the side batting at 7, Paine at 8.

Australia will make it 1-1, Im pretty confident
Our pace bowlers are better, a few of the batsman will get big runs

Cheers

North won't be dropped. Hughes is the backup batsmen an opener and the selectors would be stupid to play an opener in the middle order against spinners in India. Play Smith he can score more then 20 runs so it can't be worse.

That said Sharma, Ghambir out. prob Laxman out so we should draw the series and the same 11 will stay for the ashes

with Laxman out we may actually see some attacking fields

I still cant believe we gave him 70 odd runs without trying to get him out or tie him down in anyway and make him play out of his comfort zone

I can just imagine Tugga throwing stuff at his TV watching that knowing how he would never give anyone the slightest break
