I appreciate McCullum's career and all, but this batting approach is putting the sentiment of his career winding up ahead of the predicament that we currently find ourselves in. I really hope he is still there at lunch.

Well to be fair he probably thinks he is game isn't good enough to last on this deck???

But it's not a good look after the effort Williamson has put in so far.

It's classic B Mac in all formats. That's what makes his triple hundred a notable exception. He batted within himself for long periods and swung the match when we were in a similar position to this one.

That was when he was in the form of his life, as I said maybe he just thinks he's game is up to playing properly on a deck like this???

He's done what he wanted though and put our bowlers off.


f**k you Williamson and your soft hands, he's done that about 12 times today.

He's taken us back to parity on this wicket - he's backed himself rather than pissing round for 8 off 30 before getting out. Taken a bit of pressure of KW too. Even if he gets out now it's been a decent knock in the circumstances - and that's not even taking into account the entertainment value.

Well he did knock us off our lengths, lol nearly through it away that last ball.
