No, I agree, but the bottom line is that’s a decent test career, bit like Lyon, you wonder how…I’ve never seen a bloke get as many wickets with absolute dross. Not even Myth Johnson. 130km hr long hops accounts for almost half his wickets.
Mainly away too, he looks good, think in 9 inning only Gavaskar and Bradman have more runsBrook 184*

We are still wondering about Sir Baldalot. Well he’s played a lot of cricket to get tiger wickets. No, I agree, but the bottom line is that’s a decent test career, bit like Lyon, you wonder how…
Quality bowling helps, Henry and Southee weren’t pummelled . I’d expect your lot to slow him down a bit. ATM he’s not plagued by self doubtHarry Cherrington Brook.
Great start to his career but surely he'll be found out by someone someday.
Anderson is remarkable for a 40 y/o
this bazball seems to incorporate first innings declarations
why wouldnt you want to bowl at an extra hundred runs or so ?
I think we've fallen into the trap of playing to England's tempo, although we've ended up stuck in no man's land. It's gotta be tough mentally to see them score 435 in 3 and a half sessions and then realise it's going to take you 5 sessions of quality batting at a standard 3rpo to match them. We've wanted to cut some corners and are paying the price.Increasing the scoring rate certainly allows declarations, but then also more tine to be beaten when you eventually encounter done competence
they’re certainly on a roll, but someone will put up a fight soon, surely
