They've still dictated 6.5 out of 7.5 days in the series so far. I don't see anything here to force a rethink - but it should raise some alarm bells about how quality teams can stand up to bazball and play their own game with success. England's saving grace is there aren't many good test teams around at the moment, and they've already had success against the best in India.

2-2 at home?

1st test was a draw - was washed out with India in control and most likely going for a win

India clearly the better side after 4 tests and leading 2-1

5th test there was almost a 12 month break apart , due to covid. Though credit to Bairstow and Root to chase down 370 to draw the series

4/5 at the end, thought I was watching Australia then

All started with that horrendous run out

We've left 20-30 really valuable runs in the bank there too. Braces belongs in the pub leagues.

Bad luck with the Williamson dismissal, but what Bracewell did was imo unforgivable…

after a great fight back all an anti climax

Good to see kiwis fight back today, needed a bit more runs in the first dig

Poms should win this before tea tomorrow i'd imagine ?

If bracewell doesn't have a brain snap realistically NZ could have been over 300 run lead and still batting at stumps.

Blundell was batting fine.

No matter what they set England would have had a crack at chasing it. So time wasn't an issue.

Might be time for Blundell to go back to being a specialist batter - he's constantly being stranded with the tail and we're losing runs while he's in an immense run of form. Surely we could find a keeper who'd also be a better bat than Nicholls and Young.
