I've got no beef with Kohli for not walking.

Davis is so shit
Totally agreed. But with that you cant go troppo when you're given and didn't hit it...Gotta love that two edged sword right there....unfortunately BCCI doesn't go with that logic.

No me neither, just could have made things interesting...

Davis is appalling...

What a great home summer, brilliant - and the future looks bright, just need some openers and Sodhi to develop. Anderson and Neesham will be interesting moving forward, either keeping the spinner out, competing for same spot, or if their bowling strengthens forcing Wagner out...

But real nice - 3-11 looks a fine team, and the backups Milne, Henry are genuine talents... optimistic about the next few years.

This!!

The one's I remember are that Hadlee performance (actually his performance that whole series), Greatbatch at the WACA, Astle's 222 even though we lost, Astle and Morrison hanging on for the draw at Eden Park, Crowe and Jones which was also in a tenuous situation, and this one - the hole we were in was unbelievable, the captain magnificent, but also Watling and Neesham were superb, even when Watling got out we were still in a tenuous position   what a test, just brilliant and it was a draw!

Awesome series win for New Zealand and much deserved.

I'm glad that smug arrogant Indian team got taught a real lesson, hopefully they wisen up a bit and learn a bit more humility. But of course they won't, the IPL will come around and all will be forgotten.

For us it was a landmark series I think, I believe we are now genuine competitors in all formats of the game and only a couple of dodgy openers away from challenging anyone in test cricket.

I didn't really see any smugness or arrogance from their players tbh... they were respectful of the opposition and fans, played attractive cricket, and despite losing over and over kept their standards in the field pretty high.

I thought the spirit on the field was exceptional, and they were great tourists - real shame they don't come more often...

Can't agree more. Only small beef was with Dhoni - not gracious enough to let us win even one toss? Got to be a record surely.

Did some pretty heavy psychological damage to the Windies IMO. If Vettori is fit you should win.

Can't see him being fit unfortunately.

Someone's gotta miss out for a spinner in our next 2 tours. Wagner or Neesham will be playing for 1 spot, and Kane Williamson will be doing a lot of bowling on tour.

I'd be tempted to take Sodhi and another spinner for those tours. There's not much out there as we could possibly see a recall for Patel or possibly Mark Craig/Nathan McCullum.

I'm not talking about this tour, you're right they conducted themselves very well and usually do against New Zealand.

But you should see the way they carry on against Australia and England, when the stakes were higher. I hate to say it but they didn't particularly care about this tour and it showed in the way they played.
