Southee looking a lot more impressive here. Back to our usual crap in the batting and another sub par score. Hussey and North way too inconsistent atm, especially North who continues his 100 or under 10 streak.

This series is following most of our summer. We thrashed Pakistan and WI in the 1st Test then they fought back hard in the next.

Thats generally how we play. Add to that the England first test which okay we drew, but we killed them, then pumped in the 2nd test. We also throughouly outplayed India in the first test in india in a draw, then got thrashed in the 2nd test by an innings.

After botht those matches we came out and said how the pressures on the opposition to step up etc.

Australias batting is very fragile. We have no batsman who have the mental toughness to want to score runs day after day. North has it, hed like too, but he doesnt have the talent to really take it to the bowling, If he doesnt have guys scoring at the other end, he really struggles. and I think Husseys the same, has the mental game but his abilitys just leaving him a bit.

NZ to dismiss Australia well under 250, and then post 450 plus to break this game wide open

North doesn't offer any resistence. If you were on the 5th day of a test and needed to hold out for a draw the last bloke you'd want at the crease would be marcus North. Although he looks awesome when we're pummelling the opposition

Dude I've hardly seen dougie swing the ball so get off your high horse. I do agree would be nice for Johnson to do it more though. Was a peach inswinging yorker.

Taylor gets a life after Watson and Ponting let one go right between them. Poor work but good bowling from Harris. Johnson getting some stick now from Taylor. Get the Rug on.

Wheres the 3rd slip Ponting you Douche???

I agree Pontings captaincy has been pretty poor. Watto has bowled rubbish and has not been taken off. The pitch spun yesterday I would have had Haurtiz on earlier.

Dougie just gets another wicket all 3 wickets so far have been bowled.

What the f**k is Rosco upto??

69 off 43.. does he think hes in the IPL or something??

ive always been a massive fan of his... but the guy really needs to pull his head in...

perhaps NZ Cricket should pull the bloke out of 20/20 and make him a test specialist until he learns to play cricket properly.

Taylor is batting quite well but has been pretty lucky. That is the way he bats you will justhave to live with it.
