Its a really interesting test. A little bit of damp gets into the wicket and Steyn and Johnson become beasts. The rest of the match it has been fairly flat.

It is a good thing that Ponting won the toss eh otherwise we might have faced the brunt of that day two wicket.

Reminds me of Mark Waugh. Elegant batsman who makes really good looking 40's but gets out with a cheap shot through loss of concentration.

The new ball is going to be the key. In reality all Australia need to do is get a wicket in the first hour and I reckon the Saffers will shut up shop which will play into the Aussies hands.

Effectively they need to keep it tight like they did on that 5th day in Jo'burg and the wickets will come.

Poor Hilfy...he's had as much luck as Dougie in his first Test. He's bowled two excellent spells of swing bowling in this match especially for very little result...now he has Kallis dropped (a sitter too), only for him to commit seppukku a few balls later
