I think South Africa really need a wicket now, before these 2 start feeling comfortable out there. They don't look comfortable yet, but the 50 partnership has to help.

How f**king quick did bowden's crooked finger go up then??

I know it was out, but FFS so were 2 other decisions this test and he didn't react like that.

Going to be tough now.... The scary thing is that the next 2 batsmen are also the 2 bowlers we need out of the side, and a match winning innings is just the kind of excuse our selectors would lean on to leave them in the side

there it is, kind of big for South Africa, but the target is still very achievable for Australia.

I am nervous about the impending tea break because although the sky looks good, the forecast does not.

Johnson took 2/168 and siddle 3/140 while cummins took 7/117 and Lyon 4/109

they are the reason we were chasing 300+ in the 4th innings, even Clarke took 2 wickets. They could both have scored centries this test match and I would have them out (Johnson more so then Siddle)

I can see Australia winning from this position. I also hope they don't save the game batting for a draw believing it is an acceptable result

Johnson and haddin need to go hard and wipe off 50 of these before the new ball comes out

This really is the kind of innings that would have used to see a bowler kept in our side in the past. Hopefully the selectors aren't that stupid anymore.

Saffas obviously rattled referring that, was missing by about 2 feet

Going to be a big test when the new ball is taken

This is where I don't understand modern captains. Why would you have a deep fine leg. Why would you give the batsman such easy singles when at this stage with this much time and decent weather, you can just single your way to victory. Surely stopping the singles and chasing the wicket is more important than conceding a boundary.
