How did the Poms lose to this mob???

Our bowling line up is too draw but they are absolutely pitiful. To many young blokes thrown in learning on the job. Test cricket should be no place for L Platers.

It's just really sad watching the Windies now.

And to think we've got them on Boxing Day this year when we could have had New Zealand, all because of what they'd rather watch on TV in India.

I Think one of the things that has kept Notch in the game is his fitness, he really does work hard at it considering his age.

Starc again bowling well but good to see Haze get man of the series, well deserved.

very true but he has outbowled Notch by a long way this series, you can only play the team that's in front of you

Starc's form in T/20 has been breath taking and I don't believe you can be a world beater in one form and shit in another and I think his form in general is improving in leaps and bounds

he still has a bit to go tho but his current form is better than Notch in this series

I fully expect by our summer that Starc and Hazelwood will be our first two choices. I think Johnson gives us such a mental edge over England that he is a must have. Only if he serves up the fruit he bowled over there last time will he be dropped.

There is no doubt Starc was just too good for the Windies but England are a step up no doubt especially over there.

bottom line is we wont use just 3 bowlers over a test series so Harry will no doubt get a run but on current form you would think Starc is a lock for the first test

I just hope we are not desperate enough to use Siddle

Siddle is done.

For mine i'd be picking Harris, Johnson and Hazlewood for the first test. Starc will get a game (likely more), if it's not through injury then to give Harris a break.

The Windies are a rabble but there were positive signs for Australia - the fielding in particular.

If those 4 bowlers stay fit there is no chance for Siddle.

Johnson has played six tests in the UK for 18 wickets @ 41.

I get the mental edge idea, but his style of intimidatory bowling is negated largely by the lack of bounce in English wickets.

He needs to pitch it up and swing it, where his natural tendancy is to try and bounce his way out of trouble which just leads to getting gift balls back of a length in England.

Starc on the other hand spent a full season with Yorkshire and worked out you have to bowl differently in England, and has taken his game to another level since returning.

I think it has to be Harris, Starc and Haze for the Ashes. Johnson back-up. Siddle shouldn't even be in the squad.

So apparently Rogers is now no guarantee for the first test after Darsh's blistering performance in WI. ffs.
