Agree with the above.

Johnson needs to take more control of the game however.

They really missed Hurrell out there. Omar did well when he came on.

Piss off Maloney. And not because of your goalkicking. Because you are the most over rated player in the NRL and it showed tonight.

Too gutted to give 3,2,1s yet, but i'm pretty sure Matulino and Packer will get 2 of the slots.

Manu looked okay at centre. Omar played well. Maloney had one of his typical games this season, do 2 things good, do 2 things bad, repeat. Taylor looks like he's down on confidence. Friend and Mannering got through a ton of defensive work, and Friend's beginning to look really dangerous sniping and directing around the ruck. Johnson bombed a try by dummying and going himself off Manu's bat back. He held the ball and drifted a bit too much in the last 15, too. Mateo had another good game.

Bit harsh to judge him on one game mate. When he leaves the warriors will miss: 1. Hole running 2. Tactical kicking game (especially long) 3. Goal kicking (before tonight it was 80%) 4. Experience 5. A vocal leader

He will be very hard to replace and will hugely affect the 2013 season and not in a positive way.

Agree Blake. Maloney give us far more in positives than his errors.
We will really miss him next year.

Matulino-Locke-Mannering

Disappointed with the loss, but good game and proud the way the team went tonight. Seems an injustice to lose but that's sport.

We need Ray Hadley on the payroll for a tackling dummy

3: Mannering
2: Friend
1: Matulino (pitty about the drop fall at goal line)

Sly looked strong throwing some guys off.
Locke still not looking 100%
Manu again didnt look to back himself right at the end, he needed to put the after burners on, guess it was a wet track.

Worst commentary ever.

We have our moments, but really are struggling to click. The Freind double run-around try was well worked, and we do have players who are good ball handlers. To spite what the commentators say we should chance our hand if we think it's worth it, and we shouldn't withdraw into our shell if it doesn't work.

We did better than I thought we would.

I was almost surprised that they didn't hook Maloney, he had a bloody shocker - and not just with his goal kicking. With Omar on the bench they could have brought him on at fullback and tried Locke at 6 - that in turn might also have encouraged the Broncos to stop kicking it dead in the last 20-25 minutes.

3 Matulino
2 Packer
1 Mannering

Agreed. That last roll of the dice play was indicative of what we shouldve been trying the last 10 or so minutes, instead we were putting up bombs which, while difficult to take, Hoffman was dealing with awesomely.
Maloney was hot and cold, it was obvious his tactic was to skid the ball along the turf as much as possible and some of these kicks were blinders but the low trajectory meant that he kept kicking it into the opposition players.
Certainly if Johnson passes it, probably if Matulino holds it and maybe if Manu held it on the ball back on the inside we would have had that one crucial extra try we needed.
No shame in losing to the Broncos at home with all their Origin players by only 2pts. If we hadn't had the "it's in the bag" losses ala the Sharks game then this would be a much easier loss to take, as it stands it's s tough one.
I'll go:
3 ~ Locke
2 ~ Matulino
1 ~ Manu

Manu had a strong game - safe under the high ball for once. Special thumbs up to Packer.

Johnson needs to step up his play when it counts. He seems to go AWOL at crucial times of the game.

Really enjoyed the game but feeling a bit gutted now.

We won every stat and still lost!

Maloney was poo tonight, seriously bad kicking and missed 8 tackles. How can he miss that many tackles on a wet track?

Still pretty gutted this morning. Like Skram says, if we'd won those earlier in-the-bag games, this loss might be a little less hard to take.

3. Matulino
2. Packer
1. Friend

Hon. mentions Locke, Mannering.

Laugh at the people bagging Maloney. He was the only half involved most of the game.

If his kicking game was as good as usual we would have won.
